About ICOMET-2023
Welcome to 'Light Conference: ICOMET-2023'
We are proud to announce that the International Conference on Optics in Materials, Energy, and Technologies, 2023 (ICOMET-2023) will be held in NCKU, Tainan, Taiwan, from January 8 to 11, 2023. Since its first conference in 2015, this is the 5th one in the row. This conference brings together international leading experts, top scientists, young researchers, and students working in Micro/Nano-optics applied in materials, energy, and technologies.
The ICOMET is a full-English conference. All the oral presentations are by invitation only and poster presentations are open for submissions. We would like to express our gratitude to all the invited speakers, the poster presenters, and attendees for your participation and involvement. The conference will not only provide a venue for in-depth scientific discussion but also an opportunity for finding potential new research partners, new forms of scientific collaborations, and also possible joint funding applications. Last but not least, this conference is organized by Nature Publishing Group (NPG) journal "Light: Science and Applications" (LSA) Journal.
Topics of particular interest within the scope of materials, energy, and technologies include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
A. Micro/Nano optics of materials:
Small-scale optics, Guided Light, Optical materials, Plasmonics
B. Photonic and Optical energy:
Photovoltaics and solar energy, Optoelectronic devices , Organic Optoelectronics
C. Photonic and Optical technologies:
Biomimetic Optics and Photonics, Biophotonics and optics for biological and medical devices, Nonlinear optics Optical measurement, Manufacture of optical elements, Optical data transmission, Optical material processing
D. Artificial Intelligence:
Big data, Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, Database, Simulations, Numerical method, Materials Genome Initiative, Materials Information in optics and photonics
The primary objective of this conference is to create a forum for scientists in Micro/Nano optics in materials, energy, and technologies from universities and research institutions worldwide to present their latest research results in Micro/Nano optics in materials, energy, and technologies, and to provide a networking platform for the Micro/Nano optics of materials, energy, and technologies community to develop a roadmap for research and development in the future.
We hope you will enjoy the conference as well as the social events, and take the conference as a great opportunity to establish collaborations and exchange ideas with colleagues in Micro/Nano optics in materials, energy, and technologies all over the world. Wish you have a wonderful time in the upcoming conference in Tainan, Taiwan!
